For the songs you kept.

Many of us still have the folder: years of film songs, devotional albums and old favourites, collected one CD rip and download at a time. Streaming apps don’t know what to do with it, and basic players treat it like a spreadsheet.

பாட்டு (paatu) means song. Paatu Cassette brings back the feeling of putting a tape in the deck: a cassette that spins while your song plays, mixtapes with two sides, and sound you can shape. Underneath it’s a careful library that respects your files and understands film music, with music directors, soundtracks with many singers, and tags that need cleaning up.

It runs entirely on your Mac. No account, no tracking, and nothing is uploaded. A Windows version is on the way.
