Favourites and star ratings

Favourites

• Click the heart on any song row (it appears when you hover), or the heart in the player bar.
• Or press ⌘L to favourite the song that’s playing.
• Or right-click a song and choose Add to Favourites.

All your favourites are in Favourites in the sidebar, with Play, Shuffle, Copy Files and Export to Folder… buttons.

Star ratings

• Right-click a song and choose Rate, then one to five stars (or Clear rating).
• Click the stars under the song title in the player bar or in the cassette view.
• On the Songs page, use the Rating column.

Ratings are stored in your library, not in the music files. Use them in smart playlists, and find Forgotten favourites (favourites and 4★+ songs you haven’t played in a year) in Listening Stats.
