Songs are missing or don’t show up

New songs don’t appear

1. 1Check the songs are inside one of your library folders (Settings › Music Library). If not, add the folder.
2. 2Check the format: MP3, M4A/AAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF or OGG. Other formats (like WMA) aren’t read.
3. 3Check Automatically watch for new, changed and deleted files is on, or click Rescan Library.

Songs are marked missing

• If they’re on an external drive, plug it back in; they return automatically.
• If you moved them inside your library folders, they’re re-linked automatically.
• Otherwise see Missing files and duplicates to clear them.

An album is split in two, or merged wrongly

Albums are grouped by the album tag and album artist (or the folder, when there’s no album artist). Use Edit Info on the album to make the album name and album artist the same on every song.
