The cassette view and the queue

Open the cassette view

Click the cover art at the left of the player bar, or the Cassette view button on the right. The song plays on a big cassette whose hubs spin and whose tape moves from reel to reel as the song goes on. A spectrum visualizer dances underneath.

• Albums are split into Side A and Side B by length, and the cassette shows the side that’s playing.
• Under the title are the rating stars and the Lyrics and Queue buttons.
• When nothing is playing you’ll see No tape in the deck: pick an album and press play.

Up Next

• The Up Next panel beside the cassette shows the queue, following the song that’s playing.
• Click any song to play it. Hover a song and click × to remove it (Remove from queue).
• Clear removes every song after the current one.
• Hide queue (or the Queue button) closes the panel; the next five songs then appear under the cassette.

Add songs to the queue

• Right-click a song, album or folder and choose Play Next to play it right after the current song.
• Or choose Add to Queue to add it to the end.
• The Queue button in the player bar opens the full queue page, with Clear Up Next.
