Paatu Cassette for Mac

   Open the download

   Double-click PaatuCassette_0.1.0_aarch64.dmg in your Downloads folder, then drag Paatu Cassette into Applications.

   Allow it the first time

   macOS asks before opening apps downloaded from the internet. Open the app once, close the warning, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. On macOS 14 or earlier you can instead Control-click the app and choose Open. You only need to do this once.

   Choose your music folder

   Pick the folder where your songs live. Paatu Cassette reads the tags and builds your library. Add more folders later by dragging them onto the window.

   Press play

   Your albums, artists and music directors are ready. Open the Sound page from the player bar to shape your sound, or start a mixtape from Playlists.

Updating? Download the new version and replace the app in Applications. Your library, playlists and settings are kept.
