Add echo and reverb (Echo & Space)
Tape echo, valley echo, or the sound of a hall or stadium.
- Open the Sound page (the sliders icon in the player bar) and find Echo & Space.
- Turn on its switch (it starts with Tape Echo), or click any preset.
- Choose an Echo: Slapback, Tape Echo, Wide Echo or Valley. Or a Space: Room, Hall or Stadium.
- Fine-tune with the sliders.
The sliders
- Mix: how much effect you hear, from 0 to 100%.
- Time (echoes): the gap between repeats, 40 ms to 1 second.
- Repeats (echoes): how long the echo keeps going.
- Size (spaces): how big the room sounds, from 0.3 to 5 seconds of reverb.
Echo repeats the sound as it fades, like a tape-echo machine or a valley. Space adds the reflections of a room, hall or stadium. Turn the switch off to go back to the dry sound.
