Getting started
Install Paatu Cassette on Windows
Download the installer, run it, and open Paatu Cassette from the Start menu.
What you need
- A PC with Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit (x64)
- Your music: MP3, M4A/AAC, FLAC, WAV or AIFF files in a folder on your PC or an external drive
Download and install
- Go to the download page and click Download for Windows.
- Open Paatu Cassette_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe from your Downloads folder.
- If Windows shows Windows protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway. This appears because the installer isn’t code-signed yet.
- Follow the installer. It needs Microsoft Edge WebView2, which most Windows 10 and 11 PCs already have. If yours doesn’t, the installer downloads it, so stay online.
- Open Paatu Cassette from the Start menu.
Updating and uninstalling
- To update, download the new installer and run it. Your library, playlists and settings are kept.
- To uninstall, open Settings › Apps › Installed apps, find Paatu Cassette and choose Uninstall.
